The new Proxis suitcase has been made to withstand years of travel and to join you wherever you want to go. It also includes a unique service plan that accompanies you during the lifetime of your product: Samsonite wecare. This programme offers you a worry-free repair service and provides the recycling or repurposing of your suitcase at the end of its life.

It is important for us that you are well aware of the special benefits of the Samsonite wecare service plan upon the purchase & registration of a Proxis suitcase.

WHY PROXIS IS MORE SUSTAINABLE

MADE IN EUROPE

Proxis is created by our own experienced research team. They developed Roxkin™, an innovative and extremely robust material to produce the shells of these suitcases. The collection is produced at our own production factory in Hungary, guaranteeing shorter transportation distances. The plant also runs on 100% renewable green energy. After a thorough quality testing programme, your Proxis is ready to withstand years of travel.

RECYCLABLE SHELLS

The shells of a Proxis suitcase are made from Roxkin™, an innovative material that is highly resilient in resisting shocks. It is exceptionally robust, thanks to its phenomenal layer-by-layer in-built strength. Roxkin™ shells are made of polypropylene and completely recyclable. This means that at the end of each Proxis suitcase’s life, the luggage can either be repurposed or recycled.

EASY REPAIR SERVICE

No-questions-asked in the event that you need your product repaired, including transport damage (by airlines for example) – this does not cover cosmetic damage or damage caused by misuse as explained below (*).

thorough check-up

We will give your product a thorough overhaul when you book it in for repair or service, cleaning it up and replacing wheels if necessary, to ensure your Proxis suitcase is as functional as the day you purchased it.

MINIMAL END OF LIFE FOOTPRINT

If your case is unrepairable (*), we will replace it and recycle your unrepairable item. In this way, we make sure that your damaged item’s end of life footprint is reduced to the minimum. We will keep the spare parts of the main components. The few components that today may not yet qualify for recycling or repurposing will be correctly disposed of whilst we continue to seek sustainable end of life solutions for those parts as well.

WE RECYCLE OR REPURPOSE YOUR PROXIS SUITCASE

After at least 5 years of use, as part of the sustainability commitment of Samsonite wecare – we will be happy to also recycle or repurpose your used Proxis suitcase should you decide that it has completed its life of service for you. The few components that today may not yet qualify for recycling or repurposing will be correctly disposed of whilst we continue to seek sustainable end of life solutions for those parts as well.

RECYCLE OR REPURPOSE & GET REWARDED

After the recycling or repurposing of your used Proxis suitcase, you will receive a 10% voucher to thank you for your loyalty. This voucher will be valid for up to 12 months & redeemable with your next Samsonite purchase.

ADDITIONAL 10 YEARS 'RECYCLING OR REPURPOSING' SERVICE

This 'recycling or repurposing' service is valid for an additional 10 years beyond the already existing 10-year warranty period, so between 5 and 20 years after you purchased your product you will still benefit from it.
